New longhorn screens and info

Not sure if anyone posted this but here's some more stuff on the latest alpha of longhorn

Newest borrowed feature from apple? Grahpics card is used in rendering the GUI a la quartz extreme in os x.

I was actually running this build on my roommate's second computer. It did not have 3d accelerated GUI implemented yet.

Also the sidebar on the right is completely useless. Im sure when longhorn comes out all of you will play with it for 5 minutes hoping it does something useful to make up for the amount of desktop room it uses, then when you realize it doesn,t youll remove it like I did.

Or just whine more how it looks like a toy like how XP does. . . I myself am also trying to figure out wtf that sidebar thing is for besides showing that fugly sybol that looks like its giving me the finger.

I couldnt figure out why microsoft os wasting time with it. It does nothing useful. I really don't see it adding ANYTHING to the end user experience.

Well aren't they supposedly rebuilding the OS from scratch this time around. Plus the point is probably to implement that bull$hit subscription service to the os, so you never own even a damn license. Instead of just selling your soul to the devil, Billy is looking to sell it in several small payments. I really don't understand what they could do to convince people especially corporations to jump on that subscription service. . . it better be well done. . . who knows maybe they can pull it off.
