Remote Desktop through firewall?

Does anyone know if it is as easy as opening up a port on a firewall in order to allow Remote Desktop? I have access to my work computer from home but I would like to have access to my home computer from work as well if possible. I am behind a Linksys Wireless Access Point/Router.

Thanks in advance.
