recommendations for registry cleaner

Does anyone know of any good, effective (and preferably free) program that cleans out junk registry values?


it is time for spring cleaning after all....

regcleaner is free...i have a zip of it if you cant find it anywhere. and i could email it to you or something, its under a meg i think

I use Format C: at least once per year... It gets *everything*.

not quite a registry cleaner/manager though..

that's just a spyware hunter...

regcleaner also manages your registry... (like that annoying problem when you have a rogue program that you manually deleted from your harddrive instead of using the uninstall utility that was with that program...so, it's still in your remove programs list.... it'll clean that from the registry)

just out of curiosity, how do you go about doing that under WinXP with NTFS file system?
