is alcohol 120% (the program) really that good?

is the cd program alcohol 120% really that good? i was looking at it today and was thinking of getting it... i like being able to run images without the cd...

better/worse than nero??

run images without cd? just get daemon tools, lets you mount cd images as virtual drives

I love Acohol 120% It is my favorite copying program. It will burn every kind of format that you throw to it. Plus it will copy to multiple burners at once.
But it's too expensive, and when you purchase it, the license is only good for one computer.

For burning bin/cue's and making images from cds its an excellent program. I also use it to make cd2cd of my backups. But not worthy enough to replace Nero of course. I still use Nero to burn mpg's,Vob's & Mp3's.

so i can use nero and still have daemon tolls on my comp? it wont get all mucked up?

well when u have adaptec on a computer and then try to install nero it mucks up (this is the way i first learned how to reformat when i was 14)

what is the best program to use to rip a image from a cd in the smallest form...thanks stupid question i know

When you rip an image it does not resize them. If you want to resize a file for archiving then maybe compressing it would be an option. I use winrar for this.
