How do I convert WMA to MP3?

ok, i have a bunch of Windows Media files (WMA) that I need to convert to MP3. I am running XP with Media Player 9 and I have Roxio Easy CD creator. I am going to burn the files on a CD once converted. Thanks for the help.

I use a great little program called Power MP3 WMA Converter. I think you can find it on download.com If you can't, let me know.

You can find the program Jenny mentioned here. It's shareware (30 day trial, then $29.95).

Thanks Markel.

Sorry, that's the only way I know of. It is a simple, great program to use, though, so...

I actually paid for it after my trial because I use it so much. hehe

Did you pay for the files you were converting.

Sorry, I jest.

ok, so the final verdict went like this:

most programs wouldn't convert WMA to MP3 in any working format. some said they only recognize 16Kbps files. mine happened to be 20Kbps (I didn't create them, my church did, they are sermons posted on the website). so I ended up using BPS Audio Converter Pro to convert them to WAV, which worked fine, and then the WAV files to MP3. weird that BPS wouldn't convert them from WMA to MP3 directly. the files were unreadable. but taking the long route, WMA-->WAV-->MP3 worked just fine. thanks for the help.
