i've been trying to help my dad with his computer via remote assistance on msn messenger. but whenever i'm viewing his screen, there is large black box visible on my screen that blocks a portion of his screen from my view. i can move windows around it so i can see them but it's a pain in the arse.

anyone know what i'm talking about? or how to fix it?
