How to reassign drive letters in Win2k?

I recently rebuilt my fileserver (win win2k pro) and I have 6 hard drives/partitions that I would like to rearrange (OS, then pagefile, then critical backup, then my fileshare drives...).

IS there a quick and stable way to do this?

What exactly are you trying to do? Moving the OS is not easy and often fails.

Moving pagefile is easy. Just right click on "My Computer", choose properties, choose advanced, then performance. You should see a setting for Virtual memory or page file allocation. In there just choose which drives can have pagefiles and how big.

For changing partitions, drive letters, etc... Right click on My Computer, choose Manage, under Storage, choose Disk Manager. Right click on the drives to see your options.

That's what I wanted to do. Thanks.
