System Time going up

the time on my system keeps going up by quite a bit, over an hour, sometimes over 3 hours, eventhough I update the time using the Windows XP syschronization tool several times a day. I've installed AVG Anti Virus to test if it was a virus and I seem to be clean, any ideas on why the system time would INCREMENT?

perhaps there is a flux cappacitor in your computer traveling in time faster? Have you tried a different battery? Could be the battery in it right now is just giving out too high a voltage and is speeding up the cycles because of it.

Re: System Time going up

Check your time zone. If you're syncing with a machine in a different time zone, your machine might be trying to catch up?
