System Performance

Can anyone tell me why my CPU usage would always be at 100%? I just ran some diagnostic tests and got rid of some spyware and took a lot of crap out of my startup, but when my computer restarts and I ctrl+alt+del, it tells me my CPU usage is at 100% without running anything. This just happened recently too since I connected this computer to the Internet about a week ago.

Do ctrl-alt-del and run your task manager. In the Processes tab, click on the CPU column to sort by CPU usage. Now you should be able to see which application is hogging the CPU.

Could be a virus if you don't have all the latest patches from MS.
