How to get rid of Welcome/Logon Window in XP?

I only have one account on my PC and it has no password. It used to be that windows would directly enter to the desktop when I booted up. However, I installed the .NET Framework update (I just hadn't done it before because I didn't need it) and now I have to goto the welcome window adn click my name to enter. Is there a way to get past this?

Yes, TweakUI for XP.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p.../powertoys.asp

Once the program is installed, open it up and go to login sections and then go to the autologon sub section. This will automatically sign you in with you proper password (if you have a password). I know you are probably wanting the simple answer within WinXP, but tweakUI does have soem cool things in it. gooluck

If you only have one user with no password, you won't get a logon screen.

Do you need the .net framework? If not, just use System Restore to go back to before you installed the update.
