Firebird bookmarks disappeared
My Mozilla Firebird bookmarks mysteriously disappeared on me today. The only thing that I did was run AdAware, so I can't figure out what might have happened to them. I even restored all of the 'tracking cookies' from quarantine, but that didn't seem to help.
Has anyone experience similar behavior? This is a bit disappointing because I had lots of good bookmarks of stuff that I wanted to read or check out, but now they are gone. ![]()

Firebird can't be "uninstalled" though because it was never installed to begin with. It's a simple extract-to-directory-and-execute program, so that's what makes it even more of a mystery.

The bookmark files are not stored in the Firebird folder. They're probably stored under your user data folder. I found this out the hard way when I formatted and lost all my bookmarks thinking they were stored in the Firebird folder

For a while i was getting random system freezes under XP (until I found out the setting that stopped this from happening). Occasionally Mozilla would lose my bookmark file after a freeze - probably something to do with what exactly was happening at the time of the freeze.

Markel was it a Firebird setting causing this? If so, what? Firebird has been sort of acting up on me lately and I'm not sure if it's my connection (at my parents house) or the browser.
