system32 is not accessible.
I have a friend whose Windows 2000 PC will not boot. It hangs on startup. He can't locate his ERD disk, so I took the hard drive out and put it in my enclosure case and attached to my PC. When I attempt to open up the System32 folder it gives me the following error message,
“H:\winnt\system32 is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.” I copied the folder to my C: drive and when I opened it, there was nothing in there. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |
