Rar's and viewing them

Ok, so I running around trying to find out the answer to my situation. Here is my situation:

I'm trying to download a bunch of pr0n. It's all in .rar. Fine.
I'm looking at the newsgroup in Outlook Express.

I want to take the rar's, and open them so I can watch the pr0n.

I guessing i'm missing some steps, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the rar's on the newgroups to become the pr0n on my harddrive.

Help would be nice.

Thanks !

(hey at least i'll be honest)

so... both of those requiring me downloading the rar files. Which I haven't figured out how to do.

I remember a program that I could open up, set up my newsgroup address, go to where the pr0n was, and it would d/l it all and combine it all. that's kind of what i was hoping for.

Of course if I could figure out how to download these files, then I could use this winrar or powerarchiver. stoopid first steps.

the things i do for free

This will get all the files for you. You'll have to assemble them afterwards.

First you have to select all the parts within Microsoft Outlook Express and combine them into rar files.

The files you have are also y-encoded, so you need either a newsreader or utility to decode them. I personally like grabit (free from http://www.shemes.com/).

What you nead is a good newsgroup reader and downloading program. I personally use Newsbin Pro. I have not checked what is out there lately as to what free ones there are, but I'm sure you can find several at tucows.com. Also, many isp's don't have good newgroup servers and the files are incomplete. If you really want to look into using newsgroups more you may want to look into news group server providers. They range from about $6/month on up. If you go to www.newsbin.com they will tell you more about using newsgroups.

Slyck's Guide to the Newsgroups should give you some answers. I am also told that Outlook Express is a LOUSY newsgroup reader, MS's claims to the contrary...

For downloaded files that are yenc, I like to use uud32 from http://my.execpc.com/~mspankus/ . Easy drag-and-drop interface.
