Thumbs up Faster Loading Windows

I'm assuming this is an XP only thing. I remember reading it somewhere. I've had this batch file running everytime I start up windows for atleast the past 4 months, so no worries about it being safe.

Anyways, here is the the entire contents of the file:
Quote:
del c:\windows\prefetch\*.* /Q
save as speedstart.bat (ok this is what i call it so i don't delete it)
basically it clears out that directory from loading up all those programs. nifty, and non-harmful.

So I should just create this batch, then throw it in the Startup folder?
