Why are my Explorer fonts all italic now?

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm running WinXP Pro. A few days ago, all the fonts that should be either Times New Roman or Arial have turned italic. It's very strange. The G|A news and deals fonts have not changed, but seems every other web page I freqeunt has.

I checked my font folder, and it seemed to have all the usuals there.

Ideas?

did u check your:

tools -->internet connection --> fonts?

and make sure it's not changed there?

odd, but its fine now. I installed a handfull of games and utilties and one of them must have reset something, because the italics are gone.
