i got a DTS audio file from a friend and i cant figure out how to play it. its a single wav file with a cue sheet. it wont play in WMP or winamp. i tried VideoLAN and it works, but it decodes it on the PC and not my DTS decoder. i couldnt find any DTS filters that work. any ideas on how to get it to work?

Well since there's a cue file, did you try burning it to CD in a program like cdrwin or nero? Then you could play it on a DVD player that decodes DTS.

have you tried windows media player classic? this is the bastardized windows media player 6.4 on steroids. its got dolby and DTS decoder built in. it works fine for me when i play DVDs with DTS on it.

yeah, i tried it, but i dont want to decode it on my comp when i can send the signal to my hardware dts decoder and get sound from the right speaker. if its decoded by software on my computer the best i will get is stereo or dolby prologic sound. maybe if i had 5 speakers connected directly to my sound card it might work better, but im using a dts decoder via coax
