you should try OPERA instead

That link has some good extensions. I like the blanklast and bookmark backup ones.

I know that firefox has it's own autofill form (extension). But what i'd really like to see is that when i search in the googlebar, it automoatically opens up a new tab in the background.

i right clicked on mine and clicked delete...gone...maybe you should try a nightly build, they are much more current... http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/ can also find one thats optimized for your system...
