Any way to password protect USB keys?

i want to passowrd protect my Lexar Jumpdrive pro.

any ideas?

1) Swap it for a Lexar JumpDrive Secure (which has password protection built in)

or

2) Encrypt the data on the device with a program like PGPDisk
