hey guys? what's pagefile.sys???
soo, i'm using spacemonger to find out where all my mem has gone on my hard drive...and this one single file..."pagefile.sys" is over 1.5 gigs!!!
what the heck? can i just delete it? or is it important? *edit...nevermind...i googled it...i guess i do need it..

Nah. You don't need it. What you need is 2GB of RAM.

it's basically a swapfile. aka, your virtual memory. when something needs your ram and your ram is full, it'll get moved to the pagefile.
