Question Email program recommendations

Ok, here are the features I need:

I have 21 emails that I keep track of. So I need the ability to make personalities for them all, mailboxes for them all (or folders or something), filters for everything, have multiple signatures, etc.

I don't need a calendar or any real fru-fru stuff. I want something fairly simple to use that can do what I need it to do. I used to use Outlook Express then switched to Eudora a few years ago. Just wondering if there is something better out there that I don't know about.

One fantastic thing would be to be able to SEE somehow the passwords that I have put in for each email. heh Doubt I'll be able to find anything that does that, but...

TIA!

Ever heard of pegasus email? It was recommended to me and seems to be a very streamlined client.

Ok, so I downloaded Thunderbird and am working to get it all set up. Got all my accounts in, etc.

Is there a way to check them all at one push of a button like in Eudora? or do you have to check them separately? I don't want to do it at startup, just on command. heh

i use outlook express and it handles the 17 accounts i check on a regular basis just fine. you can set up filters so that all messages sent jenny@what ever.com go to one folder and message sent Jenny234@ blah.com

One thing I find it annoying to use Outlook 2003 is the update of address book. The address book used by Outlook 2003 is not sync with the normal address book (a.k.a. contact, inside the accessories menu) used by windows. So whenever I add a new entry, I have to do the whole export/import unless there is some way to automatically sync both....

How is Opera's mail application? Any better than TBird or Outlook Express?
