Boot date

On Windows 2000 and other flavors of Windows is there any way of telling the date and time of the last boot ?

Or is this irrelevant as you have to reboot windows every 5 mins

I can't recall where the boot date is held but i think you can find it if you google the concept.

Hmm and in terms of restarting.. My windows 98 SE, lasts 1024000 seconds... And then the counter on runtime fails and it crashes. I think thats kinda funny that the system fails cause of keeping time of how long its been working.

It's in the event viewer (which is in Administrative Tools on the start menu).

In the system group, look for the event titled 'eventlog' - open it & you'll see 'The Event log service was started.' That'll have the date & time of the last boot. On XP (might be different for W2K), you can search for event ID 6005.
