How do I convert Outlook Contacts to a real standard.

I can't figure it out. I want to import my parents Outlook Contacts in to my Evolution Contacts, but i can't figure out a way. Outlook has all these crapy formats it will output to, which are as far as I can tell are not used by anyone. So here is exactly what I need:

Outlook Contacts -> to one of the following:
* VCard .vcf, .gcrd
* LDAP Data Interchange Format .ldif

preferably .ldif. Anyone have anyclue on how to do this?
