MS Paint and beyond!

I'm looking for a good paint program that has a bit more functionality then MS Paint (i'd like more then 3 brush sizes for example), but not as complicated at Photoshop. Any suggestions? Oh, and free would be nice, or at least a free trial! or perhaps a MS Paint plugin/extension? Grazie!

Paint Shop Pro !

I'm using version 7 now, but 8 just came out.

you should be able to pickup ver 5 or 6 (much simpler than 7 or 8) for almost free.

Send a message via MSN to Jeffbx

PSP does about 90% of what Photoshop does for about 10% of the cost.

Zoner Draw 3 is free, don't know much about it...

So is Project Dogwaffle ...

As is Image Forge, and Pixia

That'll give you some points of reference...

Nonags has a free graphics program review which can also provide more information.

Just found this - PaintBuster which is also free and sounds a lot like what you're looking for...
