Oem Software

We have been receiving quite another of spam messages advertising the use of OEM software. Are these legitimate software?? See link

Depending one your intended use, I'd say no.. OEM software is supposed to be sold with something like a PC or peripheral device. Even if they are a legit company, they would be violating their agreements with the original software provider.

From their FAQ:

There is no catch - the software versions that we sell are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) which means you will receive the installation CDs only (they do not come in their original retail packing and do not include the manual). <snip..>
This software is recognized as a backup software.
Notice there is NO mention of a license. This usually means that you are supposed to have a license already and that they are just selling 'backup' copies of the install. If you don't have a license, you don't have the legal right to use the software.
