Question Text editor for very large files?

Can anyone recommend a text editor for very large files for me to use on a Windows 2000/XP machine?

How big are the files you ask? around 20-60 megs worth of text.

I'm not sure about the size files you are referencing, but I highly recommend NoteTab as a Notepad replacement. The site states NoteTab will handle files > 16 MB. Find the free version (NoteTab Light) from www.notetab.com and you won't be disappointed.

Try UltraEdit (www.ultraedit.com). Well worth the $35 (trial version avail). I use it to edit 4-8GB files. Great Sort/Edit abilities, plus diff tools, plus code highlighting abilities. We also use it for column based editing.. great if you're trying to create 10K SQL insert statemets... etc.
