I saw a bunch of cool mods. Are there any other cool ones out there that I should know about? I'm assuming these all take up cpu power and ram though. Wouldn't it be better to not even have wallpaper?

yea they do take up some memory, its mostly video memory. icons on the other hand take up alot more system resources, all those active shortcuts are constantly running, the more you have, the more resources it sucks up. thats why that unused icon wizard keeps poping up.http://www.themexp.org/

I must be looking in the wrong places, because most of that stuff I find is loaded with spyware.

Are there any sites that have sets that:

1. are complete packages (bootskin, wallpaper, icons, menu skins etc
2. load without spyware/bloatware
3. are free
