Does Thunderbird allow characters in passwords?
As posted here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=307530
I have multiple email accounts set up in Thunderbird and all but 1 work. It tells me my username or password is wrong, but I have triple (& more) checked those and I know they are right. (They also work on the webmail site for the place I have the email through.) That is the only account that has a password with characters in it, rather than all letters & numbers. @ and . are the 2 chars. If that shouldn't cause a problem, then I dunno what to do. lol Thanks in advance! Jenny

Argh, I made a test account on my site and used the same password. So I KNOW it will allow it. I'm gonna have him make me a new username & pw and hopefully that will work. If not, I dunno. *sigh*
Maybe it's something to do with the Authentication? (He said the smtp needs to be Authenticated. But not the pop server. So... ) |
