is it just me, or does it kinda suck now? i've never had a problem with firefox up until now. is it cuz i have version 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 is the new version? it takes forever to load up! thus, i've been using safari for the time being. someone did mention in a different thread that firefox for OSX takes up a lot of system resources. roar.

I use Firefox on OS X at work, and for a good while there it was acting very sluggish to the point it became unusable -- though I dropped into Camino rather than Safari (though I use that to).

I upgraded to the 1.0.6 and went in and removed all of my extensions, reinstalled a couple of essential extensions for my work -- and it has been a lot better. So possibly was related to the extensions for me-- have you tried that?

you're right, firefox is slow in loading up, not only that; it takes up a lot of ram memory, well atleast much more than IE

its also kinda slow in loading webpages

but security is awesome when it comes to firefox!
