OpenOffice help!

I'm trying to type up a tv schedule of my shows for this season using the Spreadsheet in OpenOffice.

Everytime I type a time, such as 7:00, it goes to ###. In the edit box thingy it then shows 07:00:00am

BAH! I've tried for ages to figure out how to change it so it just ****ing stays what I type and doesn't format or whatever it is doing.

Anyone know? I've tried reading the help stuff but...

TIA!

the cell may be too small to show the value
try resizing it manually by draging the COLUMN (A B C D E F) to resize OR double click the coloumn (between 2 columns ex. between C & D) (this will autosize to fit the contents)

If the time is always going to be in the same column(s), just format it up front. I've never found it to be a problem.

Nah, I know how to resize the columns. I don't WANT it to show the 07:00:00am

I want it to show what I type. 7:00 only. heh

Not sure if this is what you're getting at but...

Highlight the column you're looking to work with. From the "Format Cells" tab, choose "Time" then the first option from the "Format" area.
