Capturing video from a camcorder
I have my camcorder hooked up through the RCA inputs on my TV tuner card. I can use Power VCR, but it doesn't let you choose which codec you are using and gives you limited options. I will be using Premier Pro to edit the videos, but what applications can I use to capture them?

If I am not mistaken Premier Pro 1.5 has the capability to do capture as well. If not, then you could use Windows Movie Maker for the capture and then import to Premier.

You can use Premiere or Windows Move Maker to capture the video.

I use the infamous video dub software. I like it because it's not over bloated with features I don't need but has good expanablity in Codecs and Filters. Of course the very minor drawback is it cant do mpeg-2 codec. |
