I am running Drupal on my private site and I like it because its very clean and easy to use. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ uses it. I find its much easier to work with.

I have been using phpNuke on a fraternity website and also on a inline hockey website. I find that phpNuke is a real PIA to work with unless you are a hardcore programmer. I have been programming for 8 years in VB and I find that working server side with php is a real pain. The layout of the admin stuff is a real PIA too. It is much powerful than Drupal though and allows you to customize it much more.
