i currently have 2 folders for windows (98)... but one of them is followed by a ".000" at the end of it... can i delete it??? without screwing myself?>?? thanks...

that happens if you install windows over a previous install in dos. Chances are the .000 one is the current install. To check it, edit you autoexec.bat file and see where the windows path is...you should see either C:\windows or c:\windows~, or c:\windows.000. the one it mentions is the one you keep.
