Access your voicemail on the Internet

Anyone ever try this?

It seems too good to be true for someone who travels to locations outside the US where they have internet access, but limited or costly phone service to check voice mail.

comcast's own digital voice service (i.e., their own VOIP phone service) allows you to access your VM on the web.

pretty soon POTS will be at best, vestigial.
