Change IE Address Bar To Auto Search Google

I found this on google's site. If you are not comfortable with changing the registry don't do it. Always remember to make backups. Here is how to change your registry to use google as the auto search. Not you will have to create the Search Bar key manually. You also have to create hte folder Search as it does not exist. Follow all the other steps and it works like a charm.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Use Search Asst"="yes"
"Search Page"="http://home.microsoft.com/access/allinone.asp"
"Search Bar"="http://home.microsoft.com/search/lobby/search.asp"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL]
""="http://home.microsoft.com/access/autosearch.asp?p=%s"
"provider"=""

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search]
"SearchAssistant"="http://ie.search.msn.com/{SUB_RFC1766}/srchasst/srchasst.htm"

I always wondered why nobody thought of something like this back when I used IE.
