Moving Mp3's to laptop
Okay, so I havent had the time to search too much to see if someone had already asked this type of question:
I bought a laptop and have some mp3's from iTunes and Napster on it. However, my desktop has all of the other mp3's. I want to transfer them to the laptop harddrive. Any idea how to do this and approximately how long it would take? I have about 4,000 songs on the desktop (Okay all legally downloaded of course). Thanks |

some options:
- Get both comps onto the same network - Move songs from desktop to an external hard drive and transfer to notebook from there - connect crossover ethernet cable between the two computers - burn the songs onto a few dvdrs |

Thank you for the help. iTunes had some article on how to save them on the ipod to transfer to the computer, but I have yet gotten it to work.

That will work, but networking your computers and transfering will be 1,000,000 times faster, especially if you have a large collection.
