I'm ready to purchase some book keeping software, but I feel like we're on the verge of the 2007 version of Quickbooks. I'd rather not spend money on something that may be soon outdated (even though they are solid programs).

I've done some searching, but articles just say that it'll be release within a year from some December 5, 2005 announcement.

Any shed light on the release date would be appreciated!
