Paypal Ssss!

Follow this timeline. Paypal sucks ass.

eBay auction completed August 9.

Item shipped August 9!

Paypal funds froze August 11. Reason: ITEM NOT RECIEVED BY BUYER!

Un-freaking believable! Paypal sucks so hard.

I sent a delivery confirmation now, but no I hadnt sent it yet before they complained. I was waiting until saturday to send the email confirmation, I thought sending that info within 3 days would be reasonable! After all I shipped it the same day of the auction. Oh well.

If you have the delivery confirmation, show that to Paypal so that they can unfreeze the funds.

An item "undelivered" is the only way that they will freeze funds... I found that out a long time ago when an item I bought (but was misrepresented by the seller) arrived and I sent it back to the seller for a refund. Paypal would not freeze the funds since there was proof that the item had been initially recieved.

goes to show to always cover your ass - send that confirmation/tracking # out right after it goes out.

nothing against you, plissken, but paypal always sides on the buyer. once they complain, paypal goes automatic. some buyers are trigger-happy that way - if they dont hear from you soon enough they come crying to mama paypal.

they also prefer constant communication - just letting them know it shipped and that the tracking # will be emailed to them is sometimes all they need to know (enough not to press the panic button).

its unfortunate you got one of those whiney buyers. you'll be alright, its not like you delayed too long in delivery, just the confirmation #. what matters is you sent it right away, and the buyer will get their stuff as scheduled.

im waiting on an item myself that i paid with paypal last tuesday. i havent heard from the guy yet after confirmation that he received his money, no tracking #, no other emails. but im willing to wait til tuesday.

then i'll sick the paypal hounds on his ass.
