Thumbs up NSS.... Another new job

Well awhile back I had gotten a job that involved ALOT of heavy lifting...we're talking about 400 pd stainless steel BBQ's and stuff like that. Needless to say that job almost killed me and my options were to either quit or take the oxycontin my doctor prescribed for the pain. I chose to quit. But then I was stressing because I have 2 kids (at home) and no income or child support so I went and applied for a job with my sis...Sweetpear...and I got it! The best part is I will get more money than the last job, full benefits and all I have to do is basically answer the phone. Now I'm happy!!!

UPDATE...ok apparently the company I was hired to answer phones for has fallen through because our infrastructure cannot support their system.......but thats ok because I was offered another position doing tech support..for more money retroactive to the day I started training for the last position...so all is good..I hope...

Congrats on the new job -- hopefully it wokrs out for you.

As for me, I ended up getting a new job too -- based on the fact my old one would not give me a full-time position (even though I WAS one of the top service reps on my team).

The new job is still in the call center business, but it's full-time, tech-related -- as opposed to bank inquiries, and the benefits are even better (and like riskykougra, it pays more per hour too).
