NSS (maybe SS) Got a job at Fry's
I started a week or 2 ago, and I've only gotten 1 customer from hell so far. I work fidays, saturdays, and sundays. I'm definitely going to appreciate the income, but I miss all the weekends. It's actually my first real job at 18. heh.

Nate, first of all, congratulations on getting a job. I have been a long-time customer of Fry's for the last 14 years, and hopefully that place won't quickly kill off any optimism or hope that you had about working for the next 40-50 years.

yeah, that was definitely one of the things i thought of-sweet hardware deals! i was sadly disappointed to learn that it's a limited 10%, so i can usually find better prices online anyways. although the form i filled out was normal, some of those things are pretty true. heh. it hasn't been too bad except my knees are killing after 3 8 hour sessions this weekend with a half hour sit down break that's closer to 20 minutes because you have to clock out and get the supervisor card for that. I'm thinking about switching jobs after holiday seasons because my schedule for school will change anyways. Oh well, we'll see. If anyone does want a 10% discount on a fry's item, i have no problem letting them use it because i probably won't.

Until they change it again, you get "Cost Plus 10%" as your Discount. $70 HDMI Cables run the employees around $8. But I hear they are changing it AGAIN if they haven't already, and they will no longer go below 50% off the cost of the product, so you would pay $35 now. But still a pretty good deal.

Get new shoes or inserts dude. I worked on hard floors standing for 8 hours a day and it became really bad. I got new shoes and spent the 50 bucks on nice inserts and i was all better... Better to spend a few bucks instead of suffering all day.
