NSS: Good Weekend

So in the past weekend I purchased my new fish tank....a 220 gallon! If that wasnt enough, my wife and I got a steal on a trip to Ocho Rios for our anniversary! Now this was a great weekend.

That's great. It's always good when one here has a NSS story to relate.

Congrats on the anniversary. Have fun on the trip.

Grats on the fish tank...

Of course... I wanna see some PICS of that bad boy.

BTW.. a few months ago (back in November) I bought a 265 gallon fish tank for my Frontosa.

That sucker weighed about 500 pounds dry and took 5 people to lift it.... now filled it weighs in over 3000 pounds.

Yes this monster weighs in at approximately 370 dry. I ended up only going with the 220 rather than the 265 or the 400 I was thinking of having made for 2 reasons. First, I decided to save some money - so the custom was out. I decided against the 265 at the last minute because we did not like the stand.

Well here are my 2 biggest tanks...

The 265...

And the 125...

Both have Frontosa in them... the 265 has my Burundi colony and the 125 has my Kitumba (more expensive "Zaire" varient) colony.

You talkin' about the "Mag Floats"? Those are algae scrapers.

One part of it is in the tank and the other (held by a strong magnet) is outside so I can clean the tank without getting my hands wet.

They are hosted on Photobucket...

I can see them when viewing from home, is your access to that site blocked? I know that at work, my access to Photobucket is blocked.

Good point! I am at work and they do block quite a few sites. I'll check them out when I get home this evening! Thanks!
