Seat Belt Dilemma

I got pulled for not wearing my seat belt correctly. It cuts into my pacemaker and makes it hurt. i have tried adjusting and using covers, etc. So I say to the cop that I wear it tucked under my arm because of the pain and discomfort it causes me. I feel I should have the right to choose whether the risk wearing it this way is worth the discomfort it causes. He didn't care. Any view points on this? I want to have my say and I want to win this.

go to the dr.and get a excuse from him .he can write a medical for you ! that get you off the hook . its the only way i know of winning this. most the time the no seatbelt is use as a way not to get a speeding ticket or charges dropped !

glad you didn't say to cop this reason. i dont have it on right .was becouse it hurts my implants

yeah... a doctor's excuse probably would be helpful in this situation.

Sounds like a plausible solution to me.

YIKES!..I'd be afraid that the seatbelt would dislodge the pacemaker somehow!!!..one more thing for me to be paranoid about!...
Stand your ground-cops pull people over for the dumbest things. If you get a note from a doctor, maybe he can pre-date it to the date you had the pacemaker put in?
And see if you can also find some seatbelt adjusters that will allow you to wear it in different positions if you have to. (the seatbelt-naturally)
