hospital bill just came in for the mri on my left knee. talk about sticker shock $2,706 for the MRI and a extra $160.00 dollars for a gadolinium injection to show contrast .glad insurance companys picking up that part of my bill.
then there the bill of $252.00 for reading the mri by a tech .who sent a report to my MD . that i owe $136.21 after the insurance company payed $115.79 ![]()

Well, hope the sticker shock is the only worry you have, reno, and nothing worse.
I about passed out when I got the $30,000.00 bill for my titanium implants to the frontal orbit. The bill was supposed to go to the insurance company.

Haha medical seems extreme but it isn't too insane i dont think.
Imagine all the phds that have to get there. the buildings, the machines, the research into the technologies. the insurance that everyone has to have so gyno's can practice their love. ![]() It really add's up. I admit it is a highly profitable business, but with all the effort and costs it goes into creating such a business, i understand why they get rewarded so well.
