Yep, I've managed to forget my Wachovia bill again. There goes a stick of 128MB RAM ($29).

why don't you just call and say you didn't get your bill, or you sent your check, or even that you forgot (or any other excuse you can think of)?
they will probably reverse the charges ![]() and if they say no, call back and talk to someone else. trust me, i'm the queen of not paying late charges ![]()

late fees? what are those?
usually you can get someone who is nice enough to reverse the charge. on one of my credit cards i forgot to pay, they charged me a fee plus reduced my limit by 75%. i called to complain, saying i never got the first bill and they not only took the late charge away, but doubled my original limit to make up for the trouble. |

I've done the same thing - just call them up, make up some sob story about why you didn't pay, and they'll usually remove the late fee - especially if you've been a customer for a long time and you usually pay on time (be sure to point this out to them if it's the case).
