Saint Louis U had a Napster debate last week between Chuck D (from public enemy) and Ted Myers (from Rhino records). Let me just say that Chuck (pro-Napster) won the debate. He attacked the record companies as pirates who overcharge for CDs and only give artists 10% of the profit. Ted Myers accused Chuck D of being shortsided in this issue (which is true), but he didn't have a clue what he was talking about when he started bashin Napster as a user interface. (Ted didn't think there was any way you could actively promote music via napster, which is BS)

In any case, we had a rap star at a Jesuit University, saying "F-this" and "G*d dammit." Not generally things they like to brag about. I had a good time, plus it counted towards extra credit in Christian Morality class.
