Sound Like a Movie? It could have been, but there is no happy ending (yet)...so Hollywood called it off. Ok, so I sit down and watch 10 Things I Hate About You
DAMN THOSE LADIES ARE HOT! Then I go to a "get together" where Wild Things is on. I come home for spring break and my brother rented Cruel Intentions on DVD.

What does any of this have to do with anything? I despise all of those movies. I just hate them. All my life I attempt to reach some factor of normalcy (If that is a word) And they all make me question my sanity.

I have been shy all my life, and when ever I do get the courage to talk to that "one" it blows up in my face. Old Posts by Minx and I (ambiguous friendship/relationship (SUCKAGE!)) Anyway these movies make me think I fu*ked up the past 20 years of my life. I missed prom (Story in it's own), hardly went on dates, and Have never come into any physical contact with any female... Ok I kissed my grandmother once, but she was in the hospital and that doesn't count. After watching 10 things Julia Stiles and her lubby dubby story just pisses me off! Where were those girls in my life? I want Julia aka Cat to have like 10000 of my babies! Actually I was the puny freshman but the chick never came back, they all hooked it with Joey. I keep waiting for my future son (Back to the Future) to come back and hook me up...

What I have done to get away from any confrontation is I disappear with my baby "My computer" My real problem is my selection processes, I always without exception want what I cant have. And sho away the people who attempt to get something going. When ever I am in the posistion to take it further I chicken it out. For real... Ladies fear not... I can't concieve Rape...

I guess I shouldn't cry to you guys, Ill just call 1800love191 HAHA. Those Movies that destroy my happy life piss me off... Does everyone get hooked like they did (10 things) DAMN! The only girl that I really want to see has literally disappeared... (Alli.. if you are out there!)

I understand though. Why is it theres always one hot girl in the movie thats perfect but no one goes out with them cause they're a geek?? Where are these girls?!?! ohh well
I really think i'm just too picky, is there anything wrong with waiting for THE ONE? Maybe my problem is that i'm waiting for her to come to me and i don't go out and try to find her.

I am still pissed (I guess with myself) but I would have asked out any girl as attractive and good looking as Julia Stiles was in that movie, but thats just the thing... It was a movie.

ofcourse Hollywood is going to misrepresent relationships in movies! You know why????

Because relationships VERY RARELY WORK, they almost always end badly. And even the relationships that dont end suck. Most couples that are together are disatisfied with their partner.

The whole thing is pointless...Thats why I now refuse to get involved in anything that doest have ALE and/or WHORES.



PS. Just got out of a long term relationship tonight (maybe thats why im in a cynical mood)

No kidding...

I went through half a dozen relationships in high school and college that I ended because they didn't seem "right".

Took me a while to realize I was comparing them to frickin' MOVIES, rather than to any realistic model of what a relationship ought to be like.

A couple of those relationships I really wish I could go back and take another crack at, because the girls were wonderful, and I was too stupid to realize what I had...

Not that I'm too distraught... I got a little wise, and I'm now married to a wonderful woman. But it ain't like the movies, and I now realize it never will be.

I wish I could have learned that 10-15 years ago, rather than three years ago...

Atleast some people agree with me... Movies are also bad because they occur in 90min, where in life things take much longer! Much longer; another mistake I made.

i married a beautiful woman. problem was that i treated her like mrs wonderful, but she didn't want to treat me like i was mr wonderful. well, that is how she described me to everyone, but she didn't treat me like that to my face. in high school i dated mostly beautiful girls, and in college i did too. they often weren't very nice, and/or cheated on me. now, the not so nice i can hack, the cheating i can't. so that is when i started to bail spiritually from my marriage. beautiful is often not all it's cracked up to be. you can't be blinded by the appearance too much. a nice, sweet girl is by far a better catch. someone that will take care of you and care for your feelings.

how to meet them? i met my wife in college. we were supposed to be in a project together. i was stoked. i asked everyone to get together, and she was the only one who could make it (i wonder if the rest did that on purpose ). but then, the others were varied. one was in my french class, and i gave her a ride home. one was my friend's sister, and i went over to visit him when i knew he wasn't home. one was a friend's neighbor, and we were playing hacky sack when i purposely kicked it in her yard. one was in my trig class...you get the picture. you gotta improvise. i cut up a lot, but that is my way. whatever you do, work it. for me, it works cuz they remember me, so if it takes more than one time to get their attention, the ice is already broken.

i don't wanna ramble. i hope this helps. but then again, i just got a divorce, so consider that, too...whatever you make of it.
