Quite impressive! Just send her $2425.00 and poof It's gone! What really pisses me off is the fact that I was nice to her and offered to help her out when she was complaining about how her job was mistreating her -- I doubt she even has a job! Now, I will do whatever it takes to bring her down, regardless of time or expense! My scam happened on Ebay auction #1218595784 NR-ThinkPad T21 Divorce Forces Sale from Jean (Jackie) http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...8595784&r=0&t= Here is the information I have so far: Name(s): Jean Fore or Jackie Fisher User ID name(s): Divorcegotme2 Email address: divorcegotme2@yahoo.com She claimed to be the IS Manager at Betterbilt in PA. She did not provide this to me, but here is the company information: MI Home Products Inc. (Betterbilt) 650 West Market Street Gratz, PA 17030 (717) 365-3300 http://www.betterbilt.com If you have been a victim of fraud to Jean (Jackie), please take the time to do the following 10 actions: ![]() 1) File a complaint with the auction, website, or payment site the fraud took place at. In my case, I have submitted a complaint to both Ebay (fraudinsform@ebay.com) and PayPal (service@paypal.com). 2) If available, file for insurance. For example, after you file a complaint with Ebay, you may file for $175 insurance by filling out the claimform at: http://pages.ebay.com/services/safeh...claimform.html Please be sure to include all of the following:
Lloyd's Claims Administrator 24825 Little Mack St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 An insurance carrier receives the claim, reviews the documentation, assign a claim adjuster, and contact you regarding your claim usually within 90 days of the receipt of the above documents. You will then be provided with a contact email for the claim adjuster assigned to your case. You may address any questions regarding the claim directly to the claims adjuster assigned to your case. IMPORTANT: If your payment was issued via your credit card through an on-line payment service, such as Paypal or Billpoint, eBay's insurance company may ask you to first contact your credit card company and file a "chargeback" or some other dispute form before they begin processing your claim. Since that possibility exists and since many creditors have deadlines for such actions, you are encouraged to take this extra step as early as possible. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Ebay at email safeharbor@ebay.com. 3) Contact Charlie Goodloe, Police Detective in Murfreesboro, TN at work phone (615) 893-1311 or email cgoodloe@CI.murfreesboro.tn.us. Charlie is currently investigating this case. 4) File a complaint with the internet fraud complaint center at https://www.ifccfbi.gov/. 5) Send the below form to: William E Pollard, Jr. U.S. Postal Inspector at WEPollard@uspis.gov or fax (615) 377-6591. He is currently investigating this case. You may also go to http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/welcome.htm and file the on-line complaint form at:http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors...dComplaint.htm =================================================================================== Your Information: Surname: First name: Mailing address: City: State: Zip: Telephone number (day): Telephone number (evening): Pager number: Cellular number: E-mail: Auction Information: Subject: Bid number: Describe auction item: Amount of loss: Type of payment: If you paid by check or money order, do you have a copy of the cancelled portion: If Yes, please send a COPY of the check or money order and request the original: Method of sending payment (mail, FedEx, wire, etc.): Screen name of seller: Any additional identifying information on seller or methods of contact: E-mail address (seller): Telephone number: Address (complete): BRIEF narrative of incident(s): =================================================================================== 5) File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commision. The FTC did a report on internet scams and it showed that they did bring charges to 251 of their cases as detailed on http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2000/10/topten.htm. FTC's Consumer Response Center Room 130 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20580. The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop and avoid them. To file a complaint, or to get free information on any of 150 consumer topics, call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357), or use the on-line complaint form link at www.ftc.gov or directly from https://rn.ftc.gov/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01. The FTC enters Internet, telemarketing and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies worldwide. MEDIA CONTACT: Claudia Bourne Farrell Office of Public Affairs 202-326-2181 STAFF CONTACT: Marianne K. Schwanke Bureau of Consumer Protection 202-326-3165 6) File a complaint with http://www.fraudbureau.com/ 7) Visit http://www.nolo.com (A legal advice website). These questions are from that site and indicate obtaining help from the NFIC. I think I was the victim of a scam. Can I get my money back? Federal and state laws prohibit unfair or deceptive trade acts or practices. If you think you've been cheated, immediately let the appropriate government offices know. Although any government investigation will take some time, these agencies often have the resources to go after unscrupulous merchants. Law enforcement in the consumer fraud area is poor in some parts of the country, but many hardworking investigators do their jobs superbly. The more agencies you notify, the more likely someone will take notice of your complaint and act on it. Unfortunately, government agencies are rarely able to get you your money back. If the business is a reputable one, however, it may refund your money when a consumer fraud law enforcement investigator shows up. It certainly can't hurt you to complain. How can I file a complaint for fraud? The National Fraud Information Center can help you if you've been defrauded. NFIC provides:

Why did you enter into an auction with someone that doesn't have any feedback?
