my sister decided today that i needed highlights in my hair. i long ago learned that any resistance is just useless, i will eventually lose so i fought for a few minutes knowing that by the end of the day, i would have new highlights in my hair.

so my sister goes and buys the die. but she got a little exuberant with the highlighting stuff, so now instead of having light brown/red hair with blond highlights, i have blond hair with a few random brown spots.

i'll give it a few days to see if i like the color. hopefully the color will fade a bit, or maybe i'll get used to it. if not, i'll just dye it back to a shade closer to my original color.

speaking of haircolors, anyone know where i could find neon hair dyes? I'm looking for a neon orange.

don't know what part of the country you live in, but up in new englad, i've gotten manic panic (neon dyes) at newbury comics and hot topic. good luck. and good choice of color. orange is always the way to go.

my sister had her hair that color for quite a while. if you want hair that bright, and its not all ready blond, you're going to have to bleach it. manic panic should come in that color. good luck finding it.
