I have no life from now until August

It sucks that I just graduated from Law School but its not even close to really being over! The damn bar exam isnt until July 24th, 25th, and 26th...but I have to undergo this damn bar review course. Imagine boot camp for your brain. I have class for a minimum of 4 hours each day, and then a regimented 5 -8 hrs of studying on top of that! To beat all, my school focked up and had graduation a week late, so it was during this damn bar review course. As a result I am already behind where I am supposed to be! This is living hell, and there is no time for me to enjoy myself. I get an allotted break (now) between sections, but basically I am doing nothing but non-stop studying for 2 months!

I know it's a little late, but people at my school switch their majors to "Econ" when they have a hard time with school...

I wouldnt call it a hard time with school. School is easy, this isnt school...this is HELL! Just imagine going into a course which takes a years worth of material and goes through it in 2 days! Rather than being a socratic method, its sort of a force feeding session, whereby they cram the information down our throats. Its reviewing three years of law school in 2 months. On top of that, we have to take into account any changes that have come in the law, disregard state laws in particular and focus on national law (a thing most schools dont do) and still digest all the information.

I have the damn degree already, this is for a license to practice, otherwise three years of my life are going down the drain until I pass.

Econ my glutimus maximus!

Damn...pretty harsh...

But we architecture majors have it pretty bad as well. 4 years of college, then at least two years of grad school for a master degree, and then three years of full time work experience, and then finally we're eligible for the architecture license exam....then when we finally pass that, we get paid 25 grand a year until we're 60.... no wonder that by the time we graduate from undergrad, 70% of the major find themselves doing something else.

nobody does it for the money...if you're doing it, you gotta love it.
