Kinda sucks when everyone can hear you =P

Funny thing happened, called to schedule a meeting and then found out she was right next to me. So she hung up and poped her head over the walls

Another thing, My friend was talking on the phone and was like "don't really know which side I am on" then out yells the co-worker- "we are on the North side".. *lol* I just thought that was funny

"Hey Milton, what's happenin'?

Yeaaah, we're gonna have to get you to move your desk as far back against that wall as possible. We need to make room for some more of these boxes and stuff."

"Well, no, no, no, I said that if you moved my desk one more time, that was the last staw..."

"Thanks a bunch Milton."

"I-I-I-I'll set the building on fire... you took my stapler...."

Cubes are an employers way off getting away with subjugating employees by making them all feel "equal". I for one will do my best to never work in a cubicle again.

I'm not the most articulate person, and I hate talking to strangers/colleagues/wankers/etc. on the phone in the first place. Couple that with the fact that others can HEAR me stuttering away and using third-grade level words ...

Actually, I wouldn't mind some sort of bathroom-style stall door installed. I hate knowing that anyone can walk by and see what I'm surfing ... err, doing.

cubicles...my old job, I was in a cubicle all by myself in a room all by my self. That was like extra/extra isolation.

I guess the privacy was nice...but sheesh

i'm having fun now...no cubicles at all. I'm in a room with a bunch of other web developers/designers. Fun environment...don't have as much privacy...but I wouldn't trade this for any cubicle!

When i need to get away...just put on my headphones and the world dissappears!

Would you rather have a cubicle to yourself or have an office that you share??

there is one cubicle in all of my office, and its across the hall.

i work in a wide open basement ("first floor" according to the president of the company) with 6 other people. i can't imagine having a cube. i like my wide open space and the ability to freely throw stuff at people as i choose. the no privacy on the phone is a pain, but i learned to deal with that rather early.
