I just got back from the movie and I think about 10 million brain cells just disintegrated. I mean the location, set, camera work, SFX were all fine, but the plotline was ridiculous. I can't believe they messed up a Tomb Raider movie that badly. They just had to model it after Indiana Jones and they would have a hit, but nooooo...

Here's a deal for you Got|Apexers... Don't watch the movie and save yourself 8 bucks.

The only redeeming qualities were the nice cars and a pair of stainless HK USP Match pistols.

Some people dont learn huu? I think Mario Bros., Street Fighter and a bunch of other crappy game-movies pretty much proved that its impossible to have a good crossover. At least they actually had a famous actor in this one.

I thought the only good part was Angelina Jolie's boobs and such.

I don't think they were in the movie though...I mean she probably didn't get implants or anything, but she probably stuffed her bras with socks or cottow swabs or something, cause they've never been never THAT big in her other movies don't you think? just my guess though.

But big boobies are definitely Lara Crofts trademarks and the must have tried hard to maintian that Southern Cali image of her....

The tomb raider outfits increased Angelina's C cup to a D cup.

http://filmforce.ign.com/tombraider/.../300555p1.html

“Still, Jolie concedes, there is an aspect of Lara Croft that was nothing like her – the heroine’s ample cleavage. `I’m a 36 C. In the film, I’m a 36 D. In the game, she’s a double-D 40-something with a twenty-inch waist and thirty-five inch hips. I have a regular waist and regular hips. So I want every young girl out there to know...that is not completely me!”

They really had a chance to break the horrible game-becomes-movie mold and set a high-ish standard, but nooooooooo. Let's face it - movies like this don't do so great at the box office, and good writers and directors cost more than bad ones.

I'd love to see what Steven Spielberg could do with, say, Rainbow Six, or maybe Command & Conquer.

Hey, it's Tomb Raider, not the ten commandments fer crying out loud!

lets just thank our lucky stars they didn't try to make a movie out of Daikatana; now that would have have been major suckage. Frogs anyone?

can't wait to see Angelina in her next flick; she's one hot babe I never get tired of seeing

would be cool if they can make a Starcraft movie ^_^ But not real life though must be animated like the movies already in it or like Final Fantasy. The story line for Starcraft are pretty good

Hmm, how about Starsiege Tribes, eh? That'd make a great action flick.

I didn't know the guns she was wielding were real models. They were so damn big and kind of phony looking.

I did know the breastesess she was wielding were not entirely hers though . The gratuitious slow-motion running was appreciated.

The word on the street is that Final Fantasy's plot is borderline incomprehensible. I mean, really REALLY stupid.

But hey, if you ain't going to see the visual effects, you're going for the wrong reason anyway.

The moviegoers...

If you couldnt tell that it was going to be a horrible movie from the previews, you must be an absolute moron.

(sorry leon)

Comon...even Hapoo was smart enough to saty away....at least he learned his lesson after going to see Mario Bros. and street fighter.
